Sigh

I went to my blog this morning and right away saw my latest post. Hannah was so tiny! Then I scroll down and see her now. Where does time go? I can no longer lift her up. She has to jump up so I can hold her for a few seconds, but she doesn't like being held....thinks she's too old I guess.

I'm having a hard time right now. I guess a lot of it is seeing Hannah upstairs at school with me, out at Safety Patrol, doing 4th grade homework. I had to see Logan leave and go the Middle School this year. It seems once they leave the Elementary, it goes so fast. Tyler is already a Sophomore. Where did time go?

I remember being overwhelmed a few years ago. My little ones are only 17 months apart, so I was very busy. Then my personal life took a 180 degree turn, and I was a single Mom with a 2, 3 and 9 year old. It was so hard, but I wish I had those years back sometimes.

When Tom met Hannah he said she had chicklet teeth. They were so small. I miss those chicklet teeth! It meant she was little! We are so close, and she will still sit on my lap....only if no one is around.

What am I going to do when they graduate? I guess I can't worry about that right now. I must enjoy them NOW.

OK My Turn

After seeing some old pics of other bloggers kids, I decided to add one of my own. Here's my little "Princess" a few years ago. Wasn't she adorable? Well...she still is!!

So Sweet

Logan had a rough week last week. He really didn't feel well all week, and Thursday the school called me to pick him up. He had to miss his scrimmage. After I brought Hannah home from the scrimmage, and we all settled down for the evening, I looked outside and this is what I saw.

Logan was catching up on homework, and Hannah was reading. Isn't that the sweetest sight? They really do get along great!!

The night before, we had team pictures. A friend of mine took this for me. I just love it! Thanks T

Can you believe it??

I've been back to work for 2 weeks now, and tomorrow is the big day. I can't believe school is starting tomorrow! It's been a very hectic and frustrating 2 weeks. We've had a lot of new things thrown at us along with some confusing situations.

I work with such great people though. You couldn't ask for a better group of people. They showed such understanding today that it almost brings me to tears (almost!) 8-)

Today was the worst.....I sorta lost it....lost the control and easy going attitude I usually have. One certain person (I won't name names) wasn't sure what to make of my mood. Kinda took it easy and tipped toed around me. Thanks unnamed person! You helped me get out of my funk and relax a little.

So the kids are getting their showers and picking out their clothes for tomorrow. Hannah is on Safety Patrol tomorrow. Kinda scary....my 9 year old helping kids cross. I'm sure she will do ok though.

Logan goes to the Middle School on a BUS! Has to open a combination locker and switch classes. A big change for him!

Tyler...well he's on his own. He knows what to do.....but all 3 are grumbling...summer was just too short huh?

$$$$$$

Guess what? I ended up buying a new camera!!! And it's a good one! I realized I was missing a bunch of good picture opportunities, so I got one last Friday. Here are few samples:

Oh Man!!

I think I forgot to mention - on our trip to Cincinnati...while looking in the Reds Team Shop (Hannah really thought she needed a Griffey Jr. jersey) - she got a tank top instead.....anyway while rummaging through the merchandise....which everything cost a million dollars there (am I rambling?) I DROPPED MY CAMERA! The batteries flew out, Hannah helped me in my mad scramble to put them back in and get the heck out of there with her tank top in tow.

Anyway, we walk towards the gate (in 90 degree weather sweating our butts off). I make the kids stop in front of the Great American Ballpark to take a picture of them. They are all posed and ready....sweating and grumbling. I hold the camera up and CAN'T SEE THEM THROUGH THE CAMERA! It's a black screen with a beautiful mark through it. I don't have another lense to look through so I have to take a blind picture of them. Yes the camera works, I just couldn't see what the heck I was taking.

On to the ballpark. We had great seats. Top row of the first level right behind the Reds dugout. When Griffey Jr. came out to hit, I was again blindly zooming in hoping to get that shot.

As you can see.....I DID IT!!!

This is a before shot - walking from where we parked - Logan was sooo ready to see the Reds.

Tom told me we should get a new camera but a better one. After talking to my Dad - I'm down to two options, but they are both expensive. This is so NOT the time of year to spend that kind of money.

But as you guys know, I'm done with school shopping, but still have fees to pay. Should I splurge?
