UGH

I am so full! We had a carry in today at school. Tons and tons of food! I waddled walked out of the lunch room ready to NEVER eat again. I told our principal I was going to sleep the afternoon away. Guess what? IT DIDN'T HAPPEN.

Ya know, when you have almost 280 kids in a building, stuff happens. I was crazy busy all afternoon. Thank goodness there was a volunteer bugging helping me....thanks T.

Then I get home, and of course EVERYONE is hungry....well not me, but of course I just HAD to eat anyway.....oh man......UGH! I'm never eating again...unless of course....ice cream may call my name later.

Remember??

After reading a friend's post about the 1980's fashion, I decided to look up stuff about the 80's. I LOVED THE 80'S!!

Baby On Board Signs
The little yellow sign that looked like a yellow warning sign.

Boom Boxes
The "ghetto blaster." The portable radio, with two speakers as a minimum, the heavier and the bigger, the better

Rubik Cube
The toy that was a real pain in the butt to solve, unless you peeled the stickers or pulled it apart.

Skateboarding
Skateboarding really hit a peek in popularity during the 80s, it seemed like everyone was doing it at one point.

Trivial Pursuit
The game that made people start memorizing useless crap in order to win. Probably one of the biggest crazes when it came out though.

Video Arcades
There are arcades now, but during the 80s, they were the *in* place to hangout.

Wrestling
Although it has made a comeback in recent years, nothing even compares with the classic years of the WWF, and the NWA.

Break Dancing
Remember the parachute pants and cardboard boxes we danced on.

Cabbage Patch Dolls

Roller Skating

gnarly - Very good. Not commonly used today. She is gnarly!

grody - really, really gross. Sometimes used with: Grody to the max! Max being a degree of grossness.

Homeless Kitty

A few weeks ago, this guy started hanging around outside the house. He is BIG! At first kind of scary, cause he's a bit wild. Tom felt sorry for him and fed him. He hasn't left since. So with the weather getting cold, Tom made him a kitty condo right by the dryer vent. So he has a warm and good smelling home.

In the past couple of weeks, he's really gotten attached to us. Just tonight, he let Tom pick him up and hold him.

He's so big we named him Goliath. We hate to see anything happen to him this winter, but we just can't bring him in. He wouldn't like the other cats we have.

Does anyone know of a good home (inside) for Goliath? He's such a sweet, good and loving cat. He sits on our laps all the time and loves to be petted.
